God help us.
If William Perry Pendley and his hate-mongering minions come to Beaufort County, NC, we are doomed. Pendley believes in the Bill of Rights only for conservative ostriches who stick their heads in the sand when confronted by logic and reason. These are status quo bigots — the scariest of all Americans — the ones who claim to speak for freedom while limiting the rights of others.
A butt-buddy of former Sec’y of the Interior under Reagan, James Watts, Pendley seems aptly trained in fuck-the-environment politics along with my-rights-over-yours movement portrayed by our Beaufort County Republican Commissioners.
