Ethanol — Beaufort County Boondoggle?
Oh yes, and you know it … aepnc.com
Tom Thompson! Hey!! Answer this — Where is the ethanol plant? Did you get a bonus for the ?jobs? the plant would offer?
Hey, Ya’ll! Come on! Go ahead, try to find out the status of the ethanol plant in Aurora, NC. Ask Dave Brady — what’s going on? Ask Terry Ruse where the grant money was spent — ask the Northeast Partnership about the whole affair! Is this another one of the grand schemes of the East of I-95 Gang? Hey, Beaufort County Economic Development people, wake UP! Where the hell is Ricky Wright?
Won’t someone please make the Northeast Partnership accountable for its actions? Won’t someone please contact Terry Ruse at AEP and ask him where the money went? The phone number is 919-872-6237, last time I checked. Grant money comes from your pocket, Mr. & Mrs. Taxpayer. Perhaps the AEP operates like the Northeast Partnership:
North Carolina’s Northeast Partnership was formally separated from the state-created Northeastern North Carolina Economic Development Commission in 2003 in order to evade state Public Records Act requirements, according to documents obtained by Carolina Journal and confirmed by a Commission director.
Beaufort County’s ethanol plant — bait and switch — take the money and run — if we don’t build it, they won’t notice — and no one’s doing a damn thing about it. Or are they??
Carolina Journal
After all these years AEP has failed to pick up the option on the Aurora property for the ethanol plant and is out of the picture. Our Economic Developer now has some other would be entrepreneurs interested in developing an ethanol plant except that they don’t have any money??? So what else is new??? jb
Has the now defunct Agri-Ethanol Products, LLC, Terry Ruse, Chief Operating Officer, morphed into Projects Plus Consulting, LLC, Terry Ruse Registered Agent and sole Member & Organizer?? (Paperwork submitted to the NC Secretary of State1/22/2008 and approved 2/12/2008 )
All we can do is hope that this is not one of the “secret” companies our Economic Developer is referring to when he speaks of continued interest in an Ethanol plant in Beaufort County.
I would certainly hope that our Economic Developer has learned not to take very seriously anything anyone from that group has to say . In particular, if Projects Plus consulting, LLC wants to develop an ethanol plant, the first comment should be “Show me the money!!!” And the second should be, “And by the way the ever so sweet $1.6 M land deal that the North Eastern Partnership and your predecessors snookered us into is off the table!!”.
