WoW. If you build it, they won’t come…
Looks like Fred Fletcher wasn’t the only one taking Beaufort County for a ride! How about them PR folks at Maximum Design & Advertising, Inc. with their big money campaign to pimp the Pamlico? Guess the Rembrey 13-story condominium complex is toast. But that’s okay, according to a press release written by the Rembrey’s ad agency, the number of pre-sold family homes is significant.
Look, if a business proposition or its representatives don’t update their website for months and it’s supposed to be a going concern — start to question it.
A limited number of residences will be released in late fall 2006. Reservations for boat slips and dry dock storage will also be taken during this Private Reservation Selection Event.

oooops. You can still get in on the action… for less than 1/2 a mil. So, now what? Reggie’s races are gone, the public beach is gone… Marick Homebuilders? still here? if so… why?
“Residents of The Rembrey will experience the ultimate in water
amenities,” said Ty Savage, Director of Sales & Marketing for Watermark.
“They can sail on the Intracoastal Waterway, kayak on the Pamlico River, or
fish in the Pamlico Sound. It’s a dream location for anyone who loves the
water.”
Justice Design Studio of Greenville, South Carolina, was selected as
the architect for the project. “Hands down, the most impressive aspect of
the building’s design is how it incorporates the surrounding landscape into
the living space,” stated Savage. “Every residence will have spectacular
views as far as the eye can see — straight down the Pamlico River into the
Sound. It’s just incredible.”
Two high-rise buildings, housing 300 total residences, will sit on a
20- acre waterfront site. Outstanding amenities will include concierge
service, private swimming beaches with waterfront pavilions, a resort-style
swimming pool, a wellness & fitness center, tennis facility, private water
taxi, and much more. [ahhh shucks, they have some hellagood ad writers, don't they?]
